“Liberator” Campaign Celebrates Historic Invitation from Utah Debate Commission
On your ballot. No write-in required.
Now is the time. This is the place.
The recent election of libertarian Javier Milei as president of Argentina reminds us of the potential for liberty in our lifetimes with sufficient popular support.
Born and raised a Utahn, Rob Latham's hope is that our community does not have to experience the extreme level of state-enabled dysfunction and deprivation Argentinians are now working to remedy before we elect more Libertarians to office in Utah.
Rob is a “platform Libertarian.” Principled, pragmatic, and predictable liberty-oriented policy solutions are readily accessible (see, for example, here, here, and here). And see Rob's completed Ballotpedia "Candidate Connection" questionnaire answers here.
Rather than repeat those platform planks, solutions, or answers here, Rob's campaign intends focus awareness toward solving problems Utahns care about the most.
Some of Rob's lived, problem-solving experience comes from serving as court-appointed counsel for parents threatened with the dismemberment of their families and citizens accused of (an often victimless) crime.
Help the campaign liberate Utahns by:
-
Ending the "benevolent terror" of the state of Utah's family policing system that discourages potential parents from raising children.
-
Audit the state of Utah's use of federal funds to promote adoption violence and child-trafficking
-
Practicing preemptive, political self-defense
-
Promoting decentralization
-
"Underthrow" the government through subversive innovation and entrepreneurship
-
Increase the use of proportional ranked choice voting and democratic lotteries
-
(With apologies to friends of Bill W., the first step toward recovering from a dependence on statism is to admit that you have a problem.)
